PAHANG GRABS NARROW WIN OVER KELANTAN

MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: PAHANG 1 - KELANTAN 0

FA Cup champions, Pahang recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Kelantan at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan on Saturday to move into third place in the Super League standings.

Argentine striker Matias Conti scored the winner in the 64th minute after receiving a fine pass from R. Gopinathan.

Zainal Abidin Hassan was satisfied with the three points after the 2-2 draw against relegation threatened Armed Forces in their previous away match.

George Boateng felt a draw should have been a fair result. But The Red Warriors paid the price for not scoring any goal from the opportunities available.

Spain are crowned Euro 2024 winners after a pulsating 2-1 victory over England at Olympiastadion in Berlin.
