Former Portugal player, Luis Figo thinks his country will be facing another difficult tournament at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. In an interview with Laureus.Com, Figo said Portugal which has about 11 million population is having difficulty to choose 18-20 players for the World Cup. The team is depending a lot on Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan player thinks Brazil will have the advantage of playing at home. Scolari is a fantastic coach for this kind of tournament, and the local crowd are right behind them. However, Figo feels this year's world cup will be for Spain. The defending champions doesn't have the same quality they had 4 years ago. It will be be difficult for Del Bosque's squad, but he still thinks it is not impossible.
Figo, who is now an ambassador with Laureus Sport for Good Foundation also believes that sports can help people in society to have better opportunities in life.
