DESAILLY PICKS ARGENTINA TO WIN IN BRAZIL

World Cup winner with the great French team of 1998, Marcel Desailly told Laureus.Com that he's confident Argentina can win the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Although he feels Lionel Messi is having difficulties to deliver for his country because of the different tactical set-up, but he believes Argentina is an amazing team with all the players that they have - Aguero, Higuain, di Maria, Zabaleta, Demichelis.

However, Desailly is not writing off defending champions Spain chances at the upcoming competition. Based on his experience, it was too tough to win a second time with France in 2002 although they had a great opportunity. The pressure is too much to handle. Though,  he thinks Spain collectively, tactically, have the players.

The former France international was pleased about Brazil in the Confederations Cup, on their capacity to handle pressure.  The enthusiasm was amazing. But for the World Cup, he thinks that they will struggle a little bit to handle that pressure to deliver. It will not come easy like everybody is thinking. Desailly also feels that Germany collectively is very good, but not any individual player who will there to make the difference.
