Tottenham Hotspur will tackle a Malaysia XI in a post-season friendly in Kuala Lumpur next month, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday. It will be Tottenham's first visit to Malaysia since 1979.
Malaysia's head coach Dollah Salleh, who confirmed that the match would be played at 8.45pm, said the match would be the last platform to finalise a team for the Asian Cup and World Cup qualifiers that starts in June.
The League Cup finalists will play a Malaysian select team at the Shah Alam Stadium on May 27, three days before facing off against Sydney FC in another friendly match in Sydney.
