SIME DARBY HOLD JDT IN SELAYANG


​MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SIME DARBY 1 - JDT 1

Sime Darby stunned star studded Johor Darul Takzim after holding them at the Selayang Stadium on Saturday. The winless home side collected their first point in the 1-1 draw with last season Super League Champions.  

Sime Darby took the lead in the 35th minute through Muhammad Nazrul Kamarulzaman. Nazrul tapped-in Nemanja Vidakovic effort just four minutes after he was introduced into the game to replace the injured Mohd Firdaus Azizul. JDT doubled their efforts in search of the equaliser but Sime Darby held on until the break.

​Bojan Hodak sent in Mahali Jasuli to provide more attacking options. JDT finally got the equalizer on the hour mark when Junior Eldstal fired in Mohd Amri Yahyah's cross. The Southern Tigers continued to press for the winner but Sime Darby held on to collect their first point of the season.
