MALAYSIA FA CUP: KEDAH 0 - JDT II 1
Kedah failed to progress into the FA Cup quarter final after being knocked-out by JDT II at Darulaman Stadium on Tuesday. No goals were scored in the first half of the game despite an energetic performance by the home team.
Baddrol Bahtiar missed an open chance in the 14th minute, and JDT II's best chance came in the 33rd minute but Leandro Sebastian was unable to find the back of the net, thus ending the match with no goals at halftime.
JDT II showed a little improvement in the second half. More chances were created, but Kedah held on tightly. Muhammad Akram silenced Kedah fans with his long range attempt in 88th minutes to seal the victory for JDT II.
Kedah tried to find the equalizer but JDT II were already in defensive strategy. Time ran out for Kedah, and JDT II passed the Darul Aman test. Waiting for JDT II at quarter final will be the winner of the match between Lions XII or KL SPA Putrajaya.
