MALAYSIA FA CUP: FELDA UNITED 2 - SELANGOR 2
*Selangor win penalty shootouts 4-2
Selangor had to wait until the penalty shootout to get through into the last 16 of the FA Cup. Super League leader Felda United were great fighters and not an easy opponent for the Red Giants.
Felda took the lead through a Bojan Miladinovic's penalty in the 47th minute and doubled their lead through Ndumba Makeche four minutes later. Ahmad Hazwan Bakri brought Selangor back into the game with a goal in the 78th minute before Guillerme De Paula completed the fight back with the equaliser 10 minutes later.
The Red Giants were reduced to 10 men in the extra-time when Indonesian winger Andik Vermansyah was shown a red card for stamping on Firdaus Fauzi. Both teams were tied 2-2 in regulation time and nothing changed in extra-time either.
Makeche and Edward Wilson missed from the spot. Only Miladinovic and Shahrulnizam Mustapa scored from the spot for Felda. Selangor's De Paula, Abdul Hadi Yahya, K. Gurusamy and Robert Cornthwaite were all on target in the shootout.
