NANI WILL MISS THE WORLD CUP

 
Portugal have confirmed winger Nani is out of the World Cup after he suffered a collarbone injury. Nani suffered the problem in training before flying out to South Africa but the problem was not thought to be serious, with the player saying on Monday: "I feel better already."
 
However, further tests have revealed the injury is more serious than previously feared and the Manchester United man will now be replaced by Benfica midfielder Ruben Amorim in the squad. Nani is the second United player forced to miss the finals after England defender Rio Ferdinand picked up a knee ligament problem in training.
 
Portugal will now have to make do without Nani as they prepare to tackle Brazil, the Ivory Coast and North Korea in Group G.

Spain are crowned Euro 2024 winners after a pulsating 2-1 victory over England at Olympiastadion in Berlin.
