ANDIK SENDS SELANGOR TO THE TOP

​ MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE : PAHANG 0 - SELANGOR 1 Selangor move to the top of Malaysian Super league table after clinching a narrow victory against Pahang at Darulmakmur Stadium yesterday. Andik Vermanshah was the hero for the Red Giants after the Indonesian superstar brilliantly beat Mohd Nasril Nourdin from the close range after receiving a pass from Paulo Rangel in 63th minutes. It was a painful result for Pahang after dominating the game with a great control in center by Hafiz Kamal and Azidan Sarudin and supported by Damion Stewart in defense. Pahang almost make the lead in 15th minutes with Mathias Conti strike but were denied by Mohd Farizal Marlias while Paulo Rangel of Selangor seeing very hard to find the net after his move were well guarded by the Pahang defenders. With this result, Pahang dropped to second place while Selangor gained the top spot with 31 points after 15 match play. MSL STANDINGS TEAM

PDRM ESCAPES FROM SABAH WITH A POINT

MALAYSIA PREMIER LEAGUE: SABAH 2 - PDRM 2    Sabah had failed to take full chance against the Premier League leader PDRM after leading two goals in front at Likas Stadium .  Sabah's two goals from Zainizam Marjan and Marwan had put the team ahead, until the 72 minutes before PDRM, Bobby 's header found the net.   ​ Dollah Salleh 's men showed their quality as top leader, giving pressure to Sabah until the final whistle, and had equalized from their import player, Rafael Sousa , in the final last minute. ​  With the result, Sabah had moved down to the eighth place of the Premier League table, while PDRM remain on top, with three lost from fifteen matches.  Photos by: Azam Jaafar / Tigers Super Sports Not enough  FOOTBALL ??? FELDA PUT KELANTAN INTO MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

​MALAYSIA FA CUP : KELANTAN 3 - FELDA UNITED 3 Felda United missed the chance to beat Kelantan at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium after leading the game by 3 goals but ended the game with a 3 – 3 draw yesterday. The settler took the lead after Edward Junior Wilson makes a good shot inside the penalty area in 16th minutes. 8th minutes later, Indra Putra Mahayuddin put a pressure on the Red Warriors with his powerful header which flown into the net after receiving a cross from Zah Rahan Krangar . Felda United extend their lead in 37th minutes after Mohd Khairul Ismail beat Khairul Fahmi Che Mat for the third goal after benefiting the chances from a corner taken by Indra. ​Trailing by 3 goals, Kelantan make a counter attack and Francis Forkey Doe manage to break the deadlock in 40th minutes after receiving a pass from Mohd Badri Radzi . 2 minutes later, Ahmad Fakri Saarani reduces the deficit with a strong header after receiving a free kick taken by Zairul Fitree . SELANGOR MISS CHANCES TO GO TOP

MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SELANGOR 0 - TERENGGANU 0 Selangor squandered an opportunity to go top of the Malaysian Super League table after getting a point from a goalless draw against Terengganu at Shah Alam Stadium on Sunday. It was Terengganu that rocks the stadium and the turtles had a best chance to take the lead in the first half. A free kick from Ismail Faruqi 's gone straight to Javier Estupinan 's and he's reply with a powerful header straight into the net but Mohd Farizal Merlias denies it with a superb save. The Red Giants attacking force looks blunt after their top scorer Paulo Rangel and A. Thamil Arasu were well guarded by Terengganu defender lead by Mohd Zubir Mohd Azmi. ​The Red Giants introduce their newly signing from PKNS, Mohd Nazmi Faiz Mansor in second half but it still fail to make any attempts for a goal and the score remains until end and both team were settle with a point. SELANGOR ON TRACK FOR LEAGUE TITLE

MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SELANGOR 1 - LIONS XII 0 Selangor collected another three points after taking down Lions XII at Shah Alam Stadium. Steve Pantelidis goal was enough for the Red Giants ' narrow 1-0 win over Lions XII. The Australian, who was pushed to play in midfield by coach Mehmet Durakovic , headed in the winner in the 23rd minute for Selangor's eighth win. The win is a perfect response from the Red Giants, after crashing out of the AFC Cup on Wednesday. Selangor also reclaimed second spot in the Super League with 27 points from 13 matches, and keeping the pressure on leaders Pahang who lead by a point and have played a game more. Selangor got the breakthough when Pantelidis nodded in the goal after receiving a flick from striker Paulo Rangel . Andik Vermansyah and S. MATEO ROSKAM HATTRICK DESTROYS KELANTAN

MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SIME DARBY 4 - KELANTAN 0 It was a superb performance by Sime Darby as they hammered the 2013 FA Cup Champion, Kelantan 4-0 at Selayang Stadium on Tuesday. The result marked as Steve Darby 's final match in-charge of the Red Warriors . At the other end, Sime Darby celebrated their new signing, Mateo Roskam from Croatia who hit a hattrick for the home side.  Kelantan weak defense was clearly exposed by Sime Darby 's forwards. The home side took just four minutes to open the scoring when Roskam headed in a fine cross from Azmirul Azmi . Kelantan tried to find the right rhythm in the second half. However, Roskam was quick to kill the visitors' hopes with another goal in the 46th minute. Mahmoud punished Kelantan unsettled defenders again in the 65th minute from a mistake by Khairul Fahmi and Mohd. Farisham Ismail . And the visitors' nightmare turned worst when Roskam completed his hattrick arrived in the 70th minute. It was a terrible night

SELANGOR TAKES THREE POINTS WITH TEN MEN

MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SELANGOR 1 - PERAK 0 Playing with ten men was not an excuse for the Selangor not to collect three valuable points against bottom place Perak. The Red Giants defeated Perak with 1-0 at Shah Alam Stadium. Paulo Rangel is the hero again as his goal scoring form continued. In the 8th minute Rangel did not waste the opportunity to struck his 10th goal for the Red Giants.  Selangor squandered a chance for a second goal after Thamil Arasu crossed the ball to Rangel but Syazwan Roslan saved it. Just a minute before halftime, Selangor new signing from Brazil, Evaldo Silva was given the marching order by the referee for elbowing Kyaw Zayar Win and Selangor were down to 10 men. Twenty minutes after the break, Perak were down to 10 men after the referee showed another red card to Mohd Rafiq Nagoorkani after collecting his second yellow card for a hard tackle against Mohd Fitri Shazwan .
