MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: KELANTAN 1 - PERAK 0
Kelantan showed their true potential after collecting their third win in four games on Saturday. The Red Warriors beat high-flying Perak 1-0 in Kota Bharu with Wan Zack Haikal's goal.
The visitors were missing skipper Nasir Basharuddin in their starting line-up, and Kelantan kept pressing them to the limit. Erwin Carillo gave Perak an early scare as his strike hit the bar. Perak held on strongly until the break.
Kelantan continued their mission in the second half. Their efforts were finally rewarded as Wan Zack found the net in the 73rd minute. It was the only goal of the night for Kelantan to stay on at ninth place in the Super League, and Perak remain at third.
