SIXTEEN BEST TEAMS AIM FOR THE MALAYSIA CUP

The 2014 world cup fever has already passed by a month ago but the spirit off football is still burning for Malaysia football fanS as the nation will experience the Malaysia Cup competition which will kick-off on 13th August 2014.

The Malaysia Cup (Piala Malaysia) is an annual association football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1921. The competition is currently played at the end of each year's football season, and is contested by the 16 most successful teams in Malaysia's football league the year.

Group A can be described as group of death. Defending champion, Pahang will face an uphill task to retain the title after been drawn with last year Super League champions, Lions XII, 2014 FA Cup finalist Felda United and a Premier League outfit JDT II. In Group B, Terengganu are with Sarawak, Kedah and Perak which saw all of the team have an equal chance to move to the next level.
While in Group C, it could be an easy task for 2014 Super League champions Johor Darul Takzim after being drawn with Last year Malaysia Cup finalist Kelantan, ATM and Premier League outfit Penang. Group D, 32 times Malaysia Cup Champion, Selangor has been drawn with 2014 Premier League Champions PDRM, Sime Darby and T-Team.

MANCHESTER CITY WIN FIFTH PREMIER LEAGUE IN SIX SEASON

Manchester City bagged their third consecutive Premier League title after Nottingham Forest defeated Arsenal 1-0 on Saturday evening.  Under Pep Guardiola, City has won the title five times in the last six seasons.
