The world cannot wait to see the biggest individual honour the game has to offer to the winner in 2021.

With the European season now well behind us and both Euro 2020 and the Copa America also in the books, the world's best players are beginning to come to the fore.
Although world football has dozens of talents and potentials to win this coveted award, but the last decade showed a total duopoly between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi securing 11 of the total awards between themselves in the last 13 years.

Tell us your who is your pick for Ballon d’Or 2021? Meanwhile these are Tigers Super Sports finalist.
Lionel Messi
His odds of winning are 2/5 after he played probably the best game of his life in Brazil last month. The out-of-contract Barcelona hitman wouldn't have been a serious contender had he not won the Copa America, but guiding Argentina to their first silverware since 1993 cannot be downplayed.
Jorginho
If not for the sensational Messi win, this guy will be the clear favorite to win the award. He secured a double European champion, having won the Champions League with Chelsea and the European Championship with Italy. Traditionally both the Champions League and international competitions tend to go a long way to determining the Ballon d'Or winner, so the former Napoli man probably has as good a case as anybody that he should be named the world's best for 2021. However his odds are only 14/1
Harry Kane
Had England won Euro 2020, then Kane might well have been the favourite to take the prize. The Tottenham forward took a while to warm up in the tournament, but he stepped up in the knockout rounds. His odds are 9/1
Robert Lewandowski
The Pole had a European Championship to forget, which will likely count against him, but his Bayern Munich excellence shouldn't be overlooked. Lewandowski broke a long-standing Bundesliga record by netting 41 goals in 29 appearances in 2020/21, but still somehow lost out to Erling Haaland as player of the season in Germany.
His odds are 6/1.
Cristiano Ronaldo
The maestro would be an unlikely winner. He did not win the Serie A. Portugal lost to Belgium in the semi final. Although his form remain clinical at 36 but the lack of success will be the show stopper for him. For the record he is the the Golden Boot winner for both Serie A and Euro 2020. He did win the Copa Italia but will this be enough for him to win the Golden Ball? His odds remained strong at 8/1
For the record, Ronaldo have won it 5 times but Messi leads the pack with 6.
