MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SIME DARBY 0 - JOHOR DT 2
Two goals in the first half by the Argentine striker Luciano Figueroa (23rd) and Norshahrul Idlan Talaha (31st) at the Selayang Stadium last Saturday night, moves Johor DT into second spot in the Super League standings.
The Southern Tigers dominated the the match from kick-off and put the pressure on the home team. Figueroa sent a beautiful free kick to give JDT the lead, before Norshahrul doubled the lead.
As Sime Darby tried to recover from the bad start, the Giant Killer faced another blow in the second half, Dilshod Sharofetdinov was given his marching orders after receiving his second yellow card in the 62nd minute of the match. The score stood until the final whistle without any goal in the second half.
