MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SIME DARBY 1 - PAHANG 0
Already known as the Giants Killers for their tagline, it seems suits for the Sime Darby as they edge Pahang for a 1-0 at Selayang Stadium last night.
Playing with home ground advantage, it was a good performance showed by Ismail Zakaria team to break last season Malaysia Cup winner, and earn their second win in three games from all competition.
Pahang came up with the strong line up, with their talisman Mathias Conti and Azamuddin Akil in attack, it was still not enough for the duo to find the net.
Sime Darby makes some changes in the second half. After a quick counter attack in the 50th minute, Fahrul Razi steals the show when his well placed header beat Khairul Azhan for the only goal of the match.
The match turned hot towards the end, quite a number of yellow cards were shown by the man in black. The result is a big setback for the Sultan Ahmad Shah Cup winner.
