SIME DARBY WIN PROMOTION TO SUPER LEAGUE

Sime Darby Football Club (Sime Darby FC) has won promotion to next season's Malaysia Super League (MSL), finishing runners-up to Sarawak in the 2013 Malaysia Premier League (MPL) which ends today. Sime Darby FC have also qualified for the 2013 Malaysia Cup to represent the MPL, together with Sarawak, Johor and Kedah, and the tournament is scheduled to start in mid-August.

In their last Premier League match, Sime Darby defeated Pos Malaysia 2-0 at MPS Stadium, Selayang. A brace by local striker, Fazrul Hazli ensure a second place finishing in the 2013 Malaysia Premier League.
