In a surprising twist of events, Selangor's star defender, Ramez Dayoub has been named as one of two players suspended for life by the Lebanese FA for alleged match-fixing, pending appeal.
The announcement was made today in a press conference by the Secretary General of the West Asia Football Federation, Fadi Zureikat at the headquarters of the Lebanese Association of Football.
Al-Jadeed TV also broke the news through their official twitter account naming 24 Lebanese football players who were accused of manipulating the results of the Lebanese National Football Team in the Asian league's matches. The other player who has been named alongside Ramez is Persiba Balikpapan's Mahmoud El Ali.
