PERAK FIGHT BACK AGAINST JDT TO SECURE THREE POINTS

​LIGA SUPER: PERAK 2 - JDT 1 Perak claimed a stunning victory over Johor DT in Ipoh on saturday. The Bos Gaurus staged a great comeback to beat the star-studded JDT 2-1 in a Super League match at the Perak Stadium. Perak moved up to fifth place in the Super League with 14 points, while the Southern Tigers missed the chance to jump to the top of the table. ​JDT had a good start when Junior Eldstal found the net in the 24th minute. However, the homeside did not panic and stated to put on a great show. Muhd Nurridzuan Abu Hassan Saari made it 1-1 in the 48th minute and Perak was back in the game. Brazilian import Charles Chad Souza scored the winner two minutes later to give Perak the inspirational win. TERENGGANU THROUGH INTO FA CUP SEMI FINALS

​PIALA FA: PERAK 0 - TERENGGANU 2 Two times champion Terengganu booked the semi-final slot of FA Cup competition after securing a comfort 2-0 win against Perak at Ipoh Stadium on Tuesday. After the  1-1 draw in Kuala Terengganu, the Turtles had to travel to Ipoh with an uphill task to win the second leg match on Perak's home ground. ​​Perak dominated the first period in term of possession , but it was still Terengganu who had a better chance after Paulo Rangel headed the ball into the net in 20th minutes. Terengganu started much stronger after the break and Issey Nakajima made sure the Turtles are through to the last four after the Canada born rolled the ball into the net in the 56th minutes. Abdul Rahman Ibrahim was full of praise for his players as this is the second time the turtles beat the Bos Gaurus at their home ground in two different competition within a month. JDT BEAT KELANTAN TO KEEP TITLE IN SIGHT

​LIGA SUPER: JDT 3 - KELANTAN 1   Johor DT bounced back from their boring goalless draw against LionsXII last week with a convincing 3-1 win over Kelantan at Larkin Stadium on Saturday. The Southern Tigers had new singnings Patito Rodriguez and Alhaji Kamara in their line-up, while Kelantan also named Austin Amutu and Gilmar Filho to strenghthen their squad. ​It was interesting to see both sides were playing on offensive tactics. Kelantan opened the scoring as Austin and Gilmar linked up to beat Izham Tarmizi . JDT increased their efforts and got the equalizer in the 17th minute. Harris Harun headed in Amri Yahyah 's cross from the right. The Southern Tigers finally found their touch after levelling the score. They took the lead five minutes later when Kamara's curling attempt beat Khairul Fahmi . Kelantan started to feel the pressure, coach Azraai Khor sent in Fakri Saarani for McKain in the 28th minute. RED GIANTS THRASH LIONS IN SHAH ALAM

​LIGA SUPER : SELANGOR 4 - LIONS XII 0  Selangor  stays on the top of the  Malaysia Super League standings after The Red Giants  hammered  Lions XII  of Singapore 4-0 at Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday.  Muhd Afiq Azmi  was the hero for Selangor  when he scored a hattrick  within 10 minutes to drive Selangor into the big win.   ​The game started with Andik Vermanshah almost put Selangor infront in third minutes but his effort was blocked by the Lions defender. Mohd Afiq Azmi put Selangor beyond the Lions' reach in the first half through a hat-trick in 7th, 11th and 15th minutes.   ​Comfort with three goals deficit, Selangor kept throwing the pressure on the Lions. In 78th minutes, Andik Vermansyah manage to square the ball to  Guilherme  and the Brazillian easily slotted the ball into the net for the fourth goal. TERENGGANU FALL AT HOME TO FELDA UNITED

​LIGA SUPER: TERENGGANU 1 - FELDA UNITED 3 Felda United keep the  Malaysia Super League title in their sight after earning a comfort win over  Terengganu 3-1 at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium  in Kuala Terengganu on Saturday.  Ahmad Syamim Yahya  grabbed the first goal in 19th minutes to ensure The Fighters take control of the first half. Second half resumed with Turtles pulling back the game after Paulo Rangel  hit with a thumping header for an equlizer in 63rd minutes. Felda quickly recovered their tempo and  Makeche Ndumba put the visitors infront in 80th minutes before  Zah Rahan Krangar sealed the game three minutes later through a counter attack.   Despite the win, Felda remained second in the 12-team standings after eight matches played with 17 points, which is equals with leader Selangor but least on goal difference. Felda Coach, Irfan Bakti  praised his the team for the tactical discipline and this win also has ended Terengganu unbeaten home run for the 2015

JDT II DENY KUALA LUMPUR FIRST WIN

​LIGA PREMIER: KUALA LUMPUR 1 - JDT II 1 Kuala Lumpur failed to utilise their home ground advantage as they were held by Johor DT II in a 1-1 draw on Friday. The City Boys started well to take control early of the match but JDT II managed to control the situations. ​Hattaphon Bun An broke the duck in the 18th minute to give the home side the lead. JDT II reshaped and increased the pressure over Kuala Lumpur. Ten minutes later, it was a very unfortunate moment for Muhd Zameer Zainun who accidentally put the ball into his own net to give the visitors the equalizer. The first half ended with 1-1. ​Both team returned onto the Merdeka Stadium pitch for the second half, and Kuala Lumpur started to take control. JDT II offside traps worked well to deny the City Boys from adding more goals. Kuala Lumpur could not find the winning goal, and JDT II was lucky to escape with a draw. AFC CUP: JDT BEAT KITCHEE FC TO TOP GROUP F

​AFC CUP: JDT 2 - KITCHEE FC 0 Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) displayed a brilliant performance to beat Kitchee FC from Hong Kong 2-0 in a Group F AFC Cup match last night. Backed by 10,000 fans at the Larkin Stadium, the home side did not give much space for their opponent throughout the match. ​Luciano Figueroa gave JDT a dream start by finishing off a pass from Safiq Rahim in the 17th minute. The Southern Tigers put more pressure onto Kitchee FC and finally got a penalty when S. Kunanlan was brought down inside the box. Safiq calmly sent the ball into the net in the 42nd minute to make it 2-0. The win gave JDT the top spot in Group F and will face East Bengal in their next AFC Cup match on April 28. KEDAH SNATCH THREE POINTS FROM JOHOR

​LIGA PERDANA: JDTII 1 - KEDAH 2  Muhammad Farhan Roslan helped Kedah to a 2-1 victory over Johor Darul Takzim II (JDT II) in a Premier League match at the Larkin Stadium in Pasir Gudang, Johor Baru. The win sent Kedah to fourth place in the Premier League table, with 12 points from seven games. ​Nigerian import Chidi Edeh put Kedah in front with a super srike in the 4th minute. JDT II got their act right in search for an equalizer. Kedah solid defense denied all JDT II attempts and they managed to hold the advantage until the break. ​The home side continued their hunt for goal in the second half. Leandro Sebastien Velazquez finally found the net for JDT II in the 87th minute. However, Muhammad Farhan emerged as Kedah's hero after scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute to secure all three points. SELANGOR SHOOT DOWN ATM TO TAKE TOP SPOT

​LIGA SUPER: ATM 1 - SELANGOR 3 Selangor moved to top of the Super League for the first time this season after an impressive 3-1 win over ATM at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi. Afiq Azmi turned hero for Selangor, the striker scored a brace to lift the Red Giants over the struggling Gladiators . ​The visitors took the lead in the 8th minute from a counter-attack by Andik Vermanyah . The speedy winger sent a perfect through pass for Afiq to fire the opening goal past Forces goalkeeper Razi Effendi Suhit . ATM fought back with the equalizer from a free kick by Mario Karlovic in the 25th minute. The first half ended with 1-1 score. ​Selangor regained the lead again six minutes after the break. EDWARD WILSON LAST MINUTE GOAL GIVES FELDA THREE POINTS

​LIGA SUPER: FELDA UNITED 3 - PDRM 2 Felda United has to wait until the final minute to wins over PDRM FA at Stadium Selayang. PDRM leads 2-1 at half time via captain, Mohamad Muslim Ahmad from a free kick past the PDRM's goalkeeper after the ball was deflected to Felda United man.  The Fighter had equalised from Ahmad Syamim before Ashfaq Ali of PDRM had again put the visitor team in front before the half time break. ​Two substitute players, Muhammad Ferris Denial and Edward Junior Wilson introduced by Irfan Bakti to battle in the last 20 minutes had giving a lot pressures to PDRM defenses. The Fighter looked hungry to find scoring and too aggressive in their attacks to win the match. PERAK FALL AT HOME TO TERENGGANU

​LIGA SUPER: PERAK 2 - TERENGGANU 3  Terengganu light up their chances in becoming the title contender of Malaysia Super League competition after crushing Perak with 3-2 score at Ipoh Stadium yesterday.   It was Perak who dominated the game in the first half after Namkong Wong hit the net and put the home team infront in 20th minutes. A few good chances was blown away due to poor finishing and the first half end  with Terengganu trailing the game with one goal. ​In second half, Terengganu start to generate the game positively and fullback, Vincent Bikana hit for an equalizer through a powerful header in 63rd minutes. Ismail Faruqi Ashari put the visitors ahead also with a header in 74th minutes. TOTTENHAM ANNOUNCE MALAYSIA FRIENDLY

​Tottenham Hotspur will tackle a Malaysia XI in a post-season friendly in Kuala Lumpur next month, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday. It will be Tottenham's first visit to Malaysia since 1979. Malaysia's head coach Dollah Salleh , who confirmed that the match would be played at 8.45pm, said the match would be the last platform to finalise a team for the Asian Cup and World Cup qualifiers that starts in June. ​The League Cup finalists will play a Malaysian select team at the Shah Alam Stadium on May 27, three days before facing off against Sydney FC in another friendly match in Sydney. SIME DARBY HELD BY KELANTAN IN SELAYANG

​FA CUP: SIME DARBY 1 - KELANTAN 1 Sime Darby failed to record a good result in the FA Cup quarter final first leg match as they were held by Kelantan 1-1 at the Selayang Stadium. Playing on their home ground, Sime Darby struggled to find the goals they need before playing the second leg in Kota Bharu on 21st April. Kelantan enjoyed a good away match as they were backed by about 5000 supporters.   ​The Red Warriors took the lead in the 44th minute when Erwin Carillo beat goalkeeper Suffian Ab Rahman . However, the excitement lasted for just two minutes before the home side equalised in the injury time. Nemanja Vidakovic header beat Khairul Fahmi Che Mat before the half time break. ​Sime Darby returned for the second half in a more organized approach. SAFIQ RAHIM TURNS HERO AGAIN FOR JOHOR DT

​LIGA SUPER: JDT 2 - ATM 1 Johor DT took full advantage of playing in front of their home fans by beating struggling ATM 2-1 in Larkin on saturday. The home side displayed a good performance with new signings Patricio "Patito" Rodriguez and Alhaji Kamara making debuts. ​The Gladiators stunned the host with an opening goal in the 23rd minute. Jerry Nelson Palacious diverted an attempt by former JDT star Norshahrul Idlan Talaha . The goal could not kill the spirit of the Southern Tigers . Bojan Hoda k boys were quick to react and grabbed the equalizer through Mohd Amri Yahya  nine minutes later. ​JDT started to take control, they launched series of attacks into the visitors area but ATM held on. ​LIGA SUPER: FELDA UNITED 2 - PERAK 4 A hattrick by Chad Souza ended Felda United 's unbeaten run in the Super League. Perak proved to be a title contender as the victory lifted them to the second place, just one point behind PDRM. The Bos Gaurus traveled to Selayang Stadium as underdogs, knowing that it is the home ground of the league leader. Chad Souza boosted Perak confidence as he found the net in the 5th minute. ​Felda United struggled to find the right rhythm to take control over the stubborn visitors. The Fighters finally got the equalizer two minutes after the break through Edward Wilson Jr . M. Karathu had a better idea against Irfan Bakti 's boys. PENANG STAGED LATE COMEBACK TO BEAT JDTII

​LIGA PERDANA: PENANG 2 - JDTII 1 Penang showed their true potential at the Bandaraya Stadium on Friday by beating JDTII 2-1. The Panthers did not give up after trying hard for 90 minutes after the visitors took an early lead. Mohd Zaquan Adha gave JDTII the lead just two minutes after the kick-off. The home side fought hard through out the match to maintain their unbeaten record. ​They finally got an equalizer four minutes into the injury time through Alberto Concalves . Hilton Moreira found the net again for Penang just a minute later to give Penang a home win and extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League. The victory sent the Panthers to the top of the table.
