JDT BEGIN AFC CAMPAIGN WITH BIG WIN

​AFC CUP: JDT 4 - EAST BENGAL 1 JDT coach, Bojan Hodak was the happiest man on Tuesday night as JDT beats East Bengal FC without the regular trio import players, played in the opening fixtures Group F of AFC Cup in Johor, Malaysia. Hodak proved that his young players have that quality to compete in the international level after thrashing the AFC Cup 2013 semi-finalist 4-1 in the 90 minutes match. ​Nazrin Nawi of JDT put the home team infront in 9th minute of the match from free kick and equalised by the visitor team in 34th minute via Ranti Martins . JDT leads again after skipper Safiq Rahim converted a penalty kick before half time. ​Second half started with both teams played more aggressive in their attacking. The visitor team was unlucky when Jasazrin escaped from their offside trap before finished by S Chanturu in 47th minute. FELDA UNITED MOVE TO THE TOP OF SUPER LEAGUE

​MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: FELDA UNITED 2 - ATM 1 Felda United leaped to the top of the Super League as Perak and Kelantan fumbled in their matches on Saturday night. The Fighters proved that they are a strong contender in the current season after beating ATM 2-1 at the Selayang Stadium. ​Edward Wilson Junior brilliantly scored a rebound from Indra Putra 's attempt in the 14th minute to give Felda United the lead. Ahmad Syamim Yahya doubled their lead 12 minutes later after heading in a free kick by Edward Wilson from outside the penalty box. The goal ensured Felda moved past Perak on goals scored with both teams tie on seven points and with the same goal difference. ​But the Gladiators new signing Norshahrul Idlan Talaha reduced the deficit in the 34th minute. Felda United held on strongly for the rest of the 90 minutes to stay unbeaten after three matches and lead the table with seven points. CHAMPS JDT HELD BY SELANGOR

​MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: SELANGOR 1 - JOHOR DT 1 It was all square after the first meeting between Selangor and Johor DT in the 2015 M League season. Super League champions, JDT arrived in Shah Alam looking for a victory after losing to PDRM last week. Some fans also considered the match as a contest between the current Red Giants against their old boys, based on the number of ex-Selangor players in the opposite colours ​However, the Red Giants stunned their visitor with an early strike by Andik Vermansyah . The speedy Indonesian striker took the opportunity from the unsettled JDT defence.   ​The Southern Tigers created many chances but have to wait until the second half of the match to level the score line. Figueroa turned hero again as he converted a deflected Safiq Rahim 's shot in the 62nd minute. DRB HICOM CLAIMS THREE POINTS IN TANJUNG MALIM

​MALAYSIA PREMIER LEAGUE: DRB HICOM 1 - KUALA LUMPUR 0 DRB Hicom collected full points at the Tanjung Malim Stadium after recording a narrow win over Kuala Lumpur on Friday. The City Boys arrived with their best eleven against the newly promoted club but failed to break the disciplined DRB boys. ​The home side showed great determinations against their opponent giving no space for Kuala Lumpur move around the unfamiliar Tanjung Malim ground. Mohd Fakhrul Aiman finally found the net in the 22nd minutes after receiving a clearance from Kuala Lumpur's goalkeeper Badrol . The DRB striker sent a wonderful lob right into the visitor's goal. Kuala Lumpur tried to rise after the goal, but DRB did not break. They held on tightly and secured three valuable points from the match. FELDA UNITED COLLECT FULL POINTS AGAINST SIME DARBY

​SUPER LEAGUE: SIME DARBY 0 - FELDA UNITED 3 Felda United showed their true potential after beating Sime Darby in their second Super League match. The Fighters showed their true potential by collecting full points from the match. Sime Darby could not fine the right approach against the confident Felda players. They conceded the first goal of the match in the 11th minute as Mohd Redzuan Harun could not save Ahmad Syahmim Yahya header from a corner kick. ​Down by one goal, Sime Darby tried to pick-up their game. Felda United took full advantage on Sime Darby's inability to find the right rhythm. Makeche Ndumba doubled the score as he collected a good through pass from Syahmim and beat Mohd Redzuan in the 14th minute. ​Sime Darby returned for the second half in a more organised approach. However, Felda United is too solid to be broken. Skipper Shukor Adan added Felda's third goal with a great solo effort to end Sime Darby chances of a late comeback. A good result for Irfan

JDT LIFTS FIRST TROPHY OF THE SEASON

​MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: JDT 2 - PAHANG 0 JDT picked up their first silverware of the season by winning the Charity Shield cum Super League match at the Larkin Stadium. Brazilian centreback Marcos Santos and Argentinian striker Luciano Figueroa scored for the Southern Tigers. ​Playing in front of a confident home crowd, Johor Darul Takzim outplayed Pahang in both halves. Pahang could only make long range shots which were easily saved by Farizal Marlias . JDT took the lead in the 37th minute when Marcos headed in a corner by Safiq Rahim . ​The Southern Tigers kept their posession in the second half. Figueroa killed Pahang's desire for a fight back with an excellent finishing in the 58th minute. JDT finally lifted the Sultan Ahmad Shah Trophy and claimed the first three points in the 2015 Malaysia Super League .
